About Me

Emily McRae
Founder & Lawyer
Emily is a dual-qualified lawyer, admitted to practice in both Canada and Australia. Since 2017, she has specialized in employment law, gaining experience at top-tier firms. Over her nearly decade-long career, Emily has had the opportunity to work with clients in all industries ranging from startups to large national and multinational companies.
Emily has advised on all aspects of employment law including with and without cause terminations, mass reductions in force, employee accommodations, occupational health and safety matters, human rights matters, employee policies, leaves of absence, common employer issues, vacation and overtime practices, employee discipline, and independent contractor classification.
Emily holds a Bachelor of Science (with Honours), a Juris Doctor (with First Class Honours), and a Master of Laws (LLM). Emily is admitted to the Bar of Ontario and as a solicitor in the Supreme Court and the High Court of Australia.
